WHAT DANIELLE IS ABOUT
I am a freelance writer in Los Angeles who has worked as an English teacher in various venues
and as an environmental educator at TreePeople, and who one day not too long ago
earned an M.A. in literature and creative writing. I became a writer by making up stories in
my room as a kid. I became a simple, green liver by way of reading Barbara Kingsolver and shopping
at the farmer's market with my good pal, Anna (note: I was first dubbed a treehugger by my family
long before then). I walk, bike, bake muffins, and spend time in nature and am currently polishing
my first novella and a stack of picture book manuscripts
connecting the youngest readers to the natural world.
